Kosovo suffers from a serious image problem. Image Matters! aims at raising awareness and stimulating a debate on this topic in our society. The Reconstruction National Integrity System
The Reconstruction National Integrity System (RNIS) is a methodology developed by Tiri to assess the performance of institutions and reform initiatives in post-conflict countries as they rebuild the state and move toward democratization. The Kosovo RNIS provides a systematic study of the institutional context of post-war Kosovo, looking at the complex ways in which the legal setting, power relations, and corruption have affected the development of crucial institutions, such as the Executive, the Media, the Police or the Judicial System.

The Community Development Fund: A case-study of donor engagement in post-war reconstruction
The Community Development Fund (CDF) is a local NGO founded by the World Bank immediately after the war in 1999, which had a deep impact on the well-being and livelihood of local communities in Kosovo. It was tasked with channeling donor funds to local communities by investing in priority projects as identified by the communities themselves. The case study analyses the main factors behind the success of the CDF and delineates the key lessons to be learnt from this example.
